Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
A meeting of people who actually remember the 1960s - or maybe not!
Haringey Forum for Older People
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tottenham Town Hall at 3 PM (in HAIL’s room)
London N15 4RY
THE AGM will take place after the Health Watch meeting/Haringey Forum on End of Life Care.
This is a very important meeting for our membership because of the cuts in funding we are the only remaining one in Haringey working on behalf of the Borough‘s older people and receive no grant to operate.
It’s important that you nominate people to the Management Committee and, to vote a strong committee in place. You can nominate yourself in person or by proxy vote. If you cannot be there, please fill in a proxy form and either the chair or your named person will vote on your behalf.
Our mission: The Haringey Forum for Older People exists to give the older residents of Haringey a collective voice and to ensure that this voice is heard by those who make decisions regarding services used by older people. We will get actively involved in influencing any decisions made both locally and nationally that will impact on Haringey’s older community. We strive to combat age discrimination and to be totally inclusive of all older people irrespective of gender, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, political alliance, religious beliefs and sexual orientation.
PLEASE COME AND GIVE THE FORUM YOUR SUPPORT– IT REALLY NEEDS IT
TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE
Pam Moffatt, acting chair
