Our Indian Summer has finally come to an end and now Christmas is just around the corner. For a fun filled (and totally free) family day out come along to Kat’s Whiskers Christmas Kracker at Hornsey Vale Community Centre. The Christmas party has been organised by Kat’s Whiskers Children’s Theatre Company who write, produce and perform original theatre for children as well as entertain at birthday parties, schools and nurseries.

The Kat’s Whiskers are in fact two friends who met at Mountview Theatre School. With a shared passion for children’s theatre, puppetry, music and general silliness they set up Kat’s Whiskers and have since toured the country with their show The Hamwehads, were voted ‘Pick of the Fringe’ at the Edinburgh Festival by both the Ashden Directory and The Primary Times, and even performed with Mr. Tumble!

So as you can imagine the day promises to one to remember! There’ll be bonkers Christmas themed cookery games, parachute fun, a Christmas Present Hunt, mulled wine, stalls from local businesses, general merrymaking and of course – Santa’s grotto.

Kat’s Whiskers will be collecting for Richard House Children’s Hospice on the day of the party so please bring along unwanted DVD’s, batteries or a small cash donation.
