Debate on Fair Food - March 9th pm

Haringey Fairtrade and Sustainable Haringey are jointly organising an event on Saturday March 9^th on the theme

Food that is Fair to people, Fair to the planet, Fair to animals

What can we as consumers do; what should producers do and what should Governments do to ensure Food is Fair?

Speakers include:

• Sophi Tranchell, Managing Director of Divine Chocolate, plus two cocoa farmers Esther Mintah and Mary Appiah from Kuapo Kokoo
• Vicki Hird, Senior Campaigner, Land Use, Food and Water Security Programme at Friends of the Earth
• Sustainable Haringey,
• Urban Harvest,
• Jo Abbess from Christian Ecology Link
• Haringey Fairtrade

There are also sessions for children.
