The Friends of Railway Fields have two exciting events coming up this Sunday, 11 May.
For nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, early risers and insomniacs, why not join us for a:
Dawn Chorus Walk
Listen to the beautiful sounds of birds at dawn and learn to recognise some. Starting at 5.00am prompt, this walk, guided by bird expert Matt Cunningham, will last for one hour, followed by light breakfast.
The gates will close at 6.30am and re-open later in the morning for:
National Children's Day
Families with children can reconnect with nature from 11.00am. Guided pond dipping and wildlife art opportunities will appeal especially to primary age children although both are open to all. Gates will close at 3.00pm.
Both events are free but donations are welcome and will help us to provide similar events in future.
