Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
As a full time carer for my dear mother I know how isolating and difficult it can be. I can only get to the occasional meeting due to the disability my mother has. However when I have been able to go it is really encouraging. These mornings help carers come alone or with the person they are caring for and talk to like minded people. Although it is mainly for carers it is open to anyone who would like to make new friends with a cup of tea or coffee. There are other events like free pampering sessions and lunches organised.
They are held every Thursday morning at Abide Church which is next door to the Park Road Swimming Pool. It is a good idea to give your email to Sue Hessel who organises it so she can keep you informed. Thank God that there are such wonderful people who give their time for others.
